Low Grade Glioma (LGG) transformation is poorly understood and uniformly fatal. The Mair, Pathania and Chinnery groups have developed mouse models to map LGG transformation and are identifying molecular drivers and therapeutic targets in LGG.

Understand how phenotypic heterogeneity drives tumour recurrence and treatment resistance

Glioma are homogenously heterogenous and contain plastic cell populations. The Brindle, Mair and Creixell groups are working to identify how heterogeneity drives tumour evolution and start to target novel drivers of plasticity/evolution.
